Program Structure & Objectives

The BNAT program at Airey Healthcare prepares students to become competent, compassionate nursing assistants through 90 hours of classroom/lab simulation instruction and 40 hours of supervised clinical practicum.

Provide students with foundational knowledge and practical skills in basic nursing care.
Prepare students for successful completion of the Illinois CNA certification examination.
Instill a strong sense of ethics, professionalism, and empathy in all graduates.

Program Duration & Schedules

Morning Classes (Mon - Wed) Time: 8:30am – 2:30pm (5 weeks)

Evening Classes (Mon - Wed) Time: 3:30pm – 9:30pm (5 weeks)

Clinical Training (Saturday) Time: 7:00am – 3:00pm (40 hours total)

Admission Requirements

• Be at least 16 years old

• Valid State ID or Driver's License

• Social Security Card

• Proof of Negative TB Test

• COVID-19 vaccination / PCR

• Physical exam documentation

• High school diploma / GED

• Criminal background check
